Shruti Hasan speaking to media said, "Shooting for a fantasy adventure was unique in its own way. It feels good to be part of a good film. But for me, more than the character, I was glad that people accepted my look in the film. I sport a gypsy look and wear exotic Indian costumes. But thankfully, even my look was appreciated. Many even said that they saw a new side of Shruti in the film. Now, AOD will release in Tamil as well. In fact, I've already finished dubbing for it. And I'm sure the Tamil audiences, especially children, will love the film".
